Location scouting for nightscape photography | Astro landscape photography
In my most recent nightscape photography shoot I do some location scouting in the Peak District and make a few attempts at capturing the night sky before nailing my composition.
Astro landscape photography can be seriously frustrating at times!

Eventually I came away with a couple of astro landscape images I was happy with:
The second image I intentionally went with a shallow depth of field for the foreground and added a bit of light painting too to bring a bit more interest to it.
